The traditional educational institution, Sirajganj Medical Assistant Training School, is located on Shaheed Moniruzzaman Valla Road, Stadium Road, the gateway to North Bengal, Yamuna Bidhaut Sirajganj District Headquarters. Mats, the scenery and environment of Sirajganj is very beautiful. Surrounded by greenery, this institution was established in 1979. The name of the first principal of this institution is Dr. Raihan Uddin Chowdhury and the name of the present principal is Dr. Akikun Nahar. At present there are 13 teachers and 14 officers and employees in this institution.

The institution has 102 seats. Currently more than four hundred students are studying in this institution. The performance rate of the students in the examination is satisfactory. Literary, cultural and sports activities in this institution are commendable. Educational tours are organized every year and various national days are celebrated with due dignity. Students passed out from MATs, Sirajganj are contributing greatly to the health system of the country as medical assistants and serving humanity.
